Step 1Documents

Prove the ownership of the artwork, and its rights;
Ownership is presumed by proven precedence with documentation;
In the absence of this, ownership is presumed by possession;
This step requires a proof of life with QR Code.

Step 2Expertizes

Studies and reports by specialists in the art/artist;
Originis maintains a database of specialists, curriculum and recognized works by them;
All studies are accessible to the community and will be subject to evaluation by them, formal inquiries can be opened.
In the case of formal questions, it will be forwarded to the owner of the artwork, who can respond with explanations or new documents;
Over time, each specialist will be able to access the platform to validate their studies;

Step 3Provenance

All available traceability from the artist to the current owner;
History of the artwork;
All the way that the artwork went, owner to owner, from the artist’s studio to the current owner.
Including, when possible, the galleries where they were traded;
Information is often difficult to track, coming from studies of the work of art and reports;

Intelligence

Analysis by Artificial Intelligence to recognize the artist’s patterns, respecting their phases;
